About the webinar

The challenges of counteracting money laundering and terrorism financing are becoming increasingly important in the operations of many businesses. Obligated institutions are developing and implementing internal procedures for anonymous reporting of potential AML/CFT violations. Obligated institutions are responsible for implementing a secure, anonymous reporting channel. The AML Act places strong emphasis on the obligation to provide employees or associates with effective protection and to ensure the protection of their personal data from unauthorized access.

During the meeting:

  • We will talk about the challenges related to AML/CFT.
  • We will discuss the catalogue of obligated institutions and the violations subject to reports.
  • We will analyze the assumptions that should be followed when developing procedures for reporting irregularities.
  • We will address the issues of anonymity in reporting irregularities, whistleblower protection within AML/CFT, and the scope of entities authorized to report irregularities.

During the webinar, we will also discuss the considerations that should be taken into account when selecting reporting channel providers and system security to ensure consistency and certainty in the implementation of statutory obligations.
