Pursuant to the regulation of the Minister of Family and Social Policy of June 13, 2022 (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 1346), the administrative costs of submitting a declaration of entrusting work to a foreigner will change as of July 11, 2022. Previously, the administrative fee for the District Labor Office was PLN 30. Starting next Monday, this amount will increase to PLN 100, the same as the cost of submitting an application for a type A work permit at the Voivodeship Offices.

On June 24, 2022, the regulation of the Minister of Interior and Administration of June 14, 2022, was announced on citizenships the possession of which entitles foreigners to apply for a temporary residence permit referred to in art. 186 paragraph 1 point 9 of the Act of December 12, 2013 on Foreigners (Journal of Laws of 2022 item 1335). Art. 186 paragraph 1 point 9 of the Act on Foreigners (Journal of Laws of 2021 item 2354, consolidated text) applies to foreigners who stay on the territory of the Republic of Poland on the basis of a national visa issued for the purpose of arrival for humanitarian reasons and hold citizenship specified in the regulation of the minister responsible for internal affairs. Pursuant to §1. June regulation, "The citizenship that entitles one to apply for a temporary residence permit due to other circumstances, referred to in Article 186, paragraph 1, item 9 of the Act of December 12, 2013 on Foreigners, is the citizenship of the Republic of Belarus." This means that from today, July 8, 2022, Belarusians who entered Poland on a so-called humanitarian visa can not only legally work, but also apply for a temporary residence permit due to other circumstances, i.e. stay for humanitarian reasons.

From July 1 to 14, 2022, employers who have not yet reported the employment of a Ukrainian citizen, or who reported it after the statutory deadline (14 days from the start of employment), will have the opportunity to fulfill this obligation. Notifications should be submitted to the District Employment Office in the standard procedure, via the praca.gov.pl portal. The two-week window for fulfilling this obligation results from the Act of June 8, 2022, amending the Act on Assistance to Ukrainian Citizens in Connection with the Armed Conflict in the Territory of Ukraine and Certain Other Acts (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 1383).
