On May 24, 2016, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union adopted a new regulation on the processing of personal data – the GDPR . In today's environment, businesses are increasingly vulnerable to attacks and attempted data theft, as confirmed by statistics showing that over 7,000 data records are stolen or lost worldwide, which translates to more than 10 million every day.
