An essential element of an employment contract is the specification of remuneration for work performed. Indeed, the key factor is the performance of the work. This distinguishes an employment contract from other contracts known to us.

As you can easily deduce from the title of the article, today we will discuss what I think is the most important topic from the employee's point of view, i.e. remuneration for work.

Today we will answer the following questions: is remuneration due for working non-standard hours, when an employee works at night and on public holidays, and what are the obligations of the employer?

This may not be the exact wording used in the Polish People's Republic, but in this changed form it also refers to the performance of work – today it is about the time we devote to work and the rest we are entitled to for it.

Today we will introduce you to one of the most frequently overlooked obligations – the obligation to maintain confidentiality, which may result from regulations on business secrets or professional secrecy.
